Floor Removal & Demolition

Removing old flooring is dirty, noisy work, and it is where hidden problems show up: rotted subfloor, old adhesive, uneven concrete and moisture. Done carefully, it also protects walls, cabinets and doors.

Some very old vinyl and adhesives can. If your home was built before the 1980s, we recommend testing before removal.

How long does tile removal take?

A typical room takes about a day, depending on thickness and substrate.

Can you remove flooring from stairs?

Yes. We remove carpet and treads and prepare stairs for new materials.
