How do I know if my slab is too wet?

Testing with a meter or kit shows moisture levels. Cold, clammy concrete and efflorescence are warning signs.

Can I put hardwood in a basement?

Engineered hardwood can, with testing and barriers. Solid hardwood is not recommended.

What if my slab fails the test?

We discuss mitigation coatings or flooring that tolerates moisture.
