Finish is the shield on a hardwood floor. When it dulls and wears, dirt and moisture reach the wood, and then you are looking at a full sanding. A screen and recoat adds a new layer of protection before that happens.
We screen the surface with a buffer to create a bond, clean it thoroughly and apply a fresh coat of finish. For Nashville homes with floors that are dull but not scratched through, this refresh takes a day or two and causes far less disruption than a full refinish.
